Design Assumptions

1-            The condenser tubes material: COPPER

2-            The fins are made of aluminum

3-            Fin spacing is equal 3mm

4-            The condenser absorption power is equal 3.5 kW

5-            Air flow by fan: 0.2 m3/s =720m3/h

Work done:

In early 2017, a British client of mine based in the U.S. required a condenser working with a 4.5 KW Carnot Cycle.

There were some challenges at the beginning of the project as we had to design a condenser with a very low height. Meanwhile, the client asked us to take the fan flow rate to be the least possible. This was also adding to the complexity of the design.

However, we were able to do the calculations and finalize the design.

Description
